Abstract

The collection consists of 5 cartons of lecture notes from his years as a professor, political and personal correspondences, research materials, and general information from his interests in gerontology, human rights, and communes. Numerous magazines, reports, books, and newspaper articles have been retained, although many were removed from the collection. In addition, Alam collected political buttons, political cartoons, and comics, from which a sample was taken.

Susan Hayes Ward Papers

Scope and Contents Susan Hayes Ward's collection includes poems, songs and papers. Her Christmas greeting entitled “The Royal Guest” and the song “Fair Wheaton for the 75th Anniversary” are both part of Susan Ward's collection. Wardrop Family Writings

Agnes Wardrop's writings include two compositions: one on physiology and the other a description of the Seminary building and rooms. An extract of letters describes Agnes Wardrop's life at school and the daily course of studies, 1836-37. Agnes’ student notebooks include: Extracts on [Watt's] Improvement of the Mind and Penmanship exercises.



Margaret Wardrop's, 1836 History and Bible Lessons are also found within the collection.
